LOUIE'S STORY

Folks, we need your help on Wednesday, April 8th from 5-9pm.  Add it to your calendar.

Louie is a two-year-old boy from Chesterland facing complex medical challenges, including severe epilepsy that requires constant monitoring, specialized care, and frequent hospital visits.

As Louie grows, transportation has become a serious and urgent challenge. He relies on a wheelchair and essential medical equipment, making it increasingly difficult—and often unsafe—for his mom to lift and transport him using a standard vehicle. What was once manageable is no longer sustainable, and getting Louie to the care he needs is becoming more physically and emotionally overwhelming each day.

Louie is deeply loved by his big brother AJ and by his mom, Tonya, who has dedicated every moment of her life to making sure Louie receives the care and opportunities he deserves.

Not long ago, Tonya lost her husband, Anthony — Louie and AJ’s father, unexpectedly. The family is now seeking support to help fund a wheelchair-accessible vehicle—something that is not just a convenience, but a necessity for Louie’s safety and well-being. Without it, attending appointments, therapies, and even basic outings remains a constant struggle. The cost of the vehicle and the conversion to fit Louie’s needs ranges from $55,000 to $70,000. So far, they have been able to raise about $30,000.

On Wednesday, April 8th from 5-9pm, 100% of our sales will be donated to help Louie. We’re asking the community to rally together to help this sweet boy and his incredible mom. So please, if you can mark your calendar, have a scoop (or two) for Louie.

In addition to the sales being donated, we’ll be holding a basket raffle. If you or your business would feel moved to donate a basket, we’ll be accepting donations through Wednesday, April 8th at 4pm. All donations can be dropped off at Cowboy Creamery daily from 12pm-8pm.

Together, we can make a difference!

We’ll see you on Wednesday, April 8th from 5pm-9pm!
